A superb Blend of Hardwood Sawdust, excellent for smoking fish, meats, seafood, etc. Mainly Oak but with some Ash, Maple and Birch.. and locally sourced from Sherwood Forest!
Just moisten the dry dust with plain drinking water . . .
OR.... Whiskey... or Sherry... and why not add a few herbs such as Rosemary, Thyme or a Bay Leaf....
Moistening the dust will encourage it to smoulder and smoke. If it is too dry, it "burns" and this can sometimes give the food a bitter taste.
Price is per Bag . . . each bag contains sufficient dust for at least five or six average smokings.
